Ballade is a little something I threw together using Jango's Metal Man, he's from one of the Game Boy games and I thought it'd be pretty neat to colorize him myself and release an obscure boss character... then he got into Mega Man 10... so yeah.
But enough ranting Ballade plays like Jango’s Metal Man, same rules even twelve hits etc etc. His moves are my own takes on his attacks from MMIV and will probably get updated when Mega Man 10’s DLC stage comes out. For further information about his attacks read his readme file. It will also tell you how to use his Game Boy sprites instead if you’re into that sort of thing (yes their are differences, mostly in shading).
You probably won't find him as fun as Metal Man, but he makes for an interesting distraction I think.
Secondly by fusing my super armor coding from CO'9T with Jango’s Metal Man invincibility coding I have wrought an unholy abomination, Volteel Biblio from Mega Man Zero 3, one of the easiest Mega Man bosses ever. He’s a boss/mini-game character that means you can’t play as him. Unlike last years CO’9T he takes damage like Jango’s Metal Man and can only take eight hits. However Volteel will not get hit out of his attacks. He is also a bit harder than I thought he would be, having a larger screen makes his formerly joke like attack pattern a fairly decent one.
Volteel Biblio has no achievements, negative character specific interactions, or instant kills. Unlike Jango's Metal Man Volteel will die in only eight hits.
At present he has a few issues, he is missing a few sounds, his attack pattern is entirely random instead of being based on the enemies position and his death animation is not the one Mega Man Zero bosses use. The last one was a design choice as the normal MMZ boss explosion involves full screen effects and would be disrupting during simul modes.
There may be more bugs but I haven't had time to really test them, so I apologize in advance. It's not like you would tell me if you find them anyways so let's call it even.
